YOUR REGIMENT IN A FEW WORDS
Le 68e Régiment d'Artillerie d'Afrique (RAA) est une unité prestigieuse de l'armée française, dotée d'une histoire riche et mouvementée. Fondé en 1918, ce régiment a connu une trajectoire remarquable, marquée par son engagement lors de nombreux conflits et opérations militaires.
Initialement constitué pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, le 68e RAA a d'abord participé aux combats en Europe, avant de s'illustrer notamment en Afrique du Nord, où il a été déployé lors des campagnes coloniales et des opérations de pacification.
Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le 68e RAA a été mobilisé pour défendre la France contre l'occupation allemande. Il a ensuite participé aux campagnes de libération en Europe, jouant un rôle crucial dans la reconquête du territoire français et dans la victoire des Alliés.
Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le régiment a poursuivi son service actif, participant à des missions de maintien de la paix et d'intervention extérieure dans différents théâtres d'opérations, notamment en Indochine et en Afrique.
Au fil des décennies, le 68e RAA a su s'adapter aux évolutions tactiques et technologiques, demeurant une unité d'élite de l'artillerie française. Sa devise "Poursuivre et vaincre" témoigne de son engagement indéfectible envers la défense de la patrie et des valeurs républicaines.
